Q&A

Hey!  Welcome to Crazy A’s second Q&A!  Thank you to everyone that asked questions.  I hope you enjoy the answers!

 (HorseLover4Ever) Elizabeth asks…

When you were little, what did you want to be?

Well, I guess I’ll start with when I was younger and move up.  When I was five I wanted to be a singer/songwriter/musician.  When I was seven, I wanted to be a veterinarian.  When I was nine, I wanted to be a nurse/doctor.

I’m going to sum it up with…I’ve been conflicted since I was little whether I want to help people, or entertain them.

What’s your dream job right now?

Hehe.  Well, here I go!  Um, I would really like to voice act/be in a movie.  I want to write part time, and the rest of the time?  I want to travel around the states singing, and playing instruments with my family, and preaching the good news that Christ Jesus has come, died for our sins, and rose from the dead.  He has made a path for us to be in communion with God the Father.  He is the only Way, the Truth, and the Life.

What’s your most embarrassing childhood memory?

I’m afraid I can’t say my most embarrassing memory because it involves a younger sibling that would kill me if I told.  My second most embarrassing memory is hilarious!  I die in laughter every time I remember.

(So obviously it isn’t embarrassing!)

I was seven and we were visiting a church for the first time.  I had been a bit nauseous all morning, so my mom had given me a peppermint.  In the middle of the first song, I retched down the whole intire aisle.  I didn’t stop until we reached the bathroom.  Then I stopped.  The funniest part (Sorry if I grossed you out!) is that the peppermint was still in my mom’s hand.

What do you love about yourself the most?

Um, wow.  I feel so conceited answering this.  I don’t know.  I like almost everything about me.  Either my eyes, humor, or hair; my hair could be a bit redder for my taste.

What don’t you like so much?

Hmm, maybe my height?  Though I like it at times.  Or it would be my smile.  I don’t know!  I like myself a lot.

On the first day of ruling the world, what 3 things would you do?

This is a fun question!  First, I would close down all the abortion clinics.  Second, I would ask everyone to close their stores on the Sabbath.  Third, I would get rid of all the stupid holidays they have, and give the government three three-day weekends; one for Christmas, one for Easter, and one for Thanksgiving.

Can you hula hoop?

Last time I managed to get a hula hoop, yes.  I don’t understand why it’s fun though.  My hips hurt for a while afterwards.

Whom are you most envious of–real or fictional–and why?

Hmm, I don’t know.  That’s so hard!  Probably Susan Pevensie, Anne Shirley, Abby Baker, and Capitola Black are the people I envy in fiction.  In real life?  No one!  I love my life! ❤

Are your feet the same size?

I think?  This is an odd question.

What’s under your bed?

Another bed.  I sleep on a bunk bed.

Have you ever won anything? Big or small?

I feel like I’m bragging about my accomplishments.  Um, yes…I won a medal for field day a long time ago.  I also won a trophy for second place in derby cars, though it was only for fashion and design.  Um, I just recently won something for writing…but that’s the first time for writing.  I entered three writing contest last summer and I lost each one. *cries*. But I deserved to loose.  I’m not a very good writer.

What’s your favorite plant?

Plant?  Um, maybe corn?  No!  Kale.  Or maybe it’s peppers.  I don’t know.  I also really like lavender.  And marigolds.  How many of you have eaten a marigold leaf?  They are SO GOOD!

Elizabeth, thank you so much for the questions!  I enjoyed them so much!

Liz asks…

Why did you want to start blogging?

Ya know, I really don’t know.  Haha!  I started blogging without a purpose, though I soon found one.  I helped start my family’s blog before I started mine.  So, I guess I just thought it would be cool.

Do you like cooking?

Emphatically no.  Cooking is one of the things I detest.  In fact, that and baking are the only hobbies I absolutely do not do.  Everything else I dabble in.

Do you know how to skateboard?

Do I know how to do tricks on a skateboard?  No.  Do I know how to propel myself on one?  Yes.

What do you do in your spare time?

Haha!  I could write a book in answer to this question!  Well, I dabble in photography, drawing, calligraphy, letter writing, blogging, rabbit care, sewing, music, exercising, and writing.  That’s all in my free time.

Thanks so much, Liz!  I enjoyed your questions, and I hope you enjoyed my answers!

Amanda Davis asks…

Do you suffer from stage fright?

No, I thankfully do not.  I enjoy being on stage, whether I’m singing, playing an instrument, or acting.

If you had a time machine, would you go to the future or past?

Past.  I wouldn’t like to see an old me.  That’s just plain weird.  I don’t even want to get old!

What’s your favorite day of the week?

I like every day of the week!  But I think I would chose Thursday, though I really like Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday a lot too.

What’s the latest book you’ve read?

“The Author of Peace”.  I wouldn’t suggest it at all.  It was, um, terrible?  Okay, maybe not that bad, but there are better things to put in your brain.  Oh!  Wait, no, I read “Living on the Devil’s Doorstep” last.  It was really good!  It was about Floyd McCoung or some guy like that.

Are you good at impersonations?

According to my mom, no.  According to my brother, “Keep to the accents.  You can do those.”  Apparently I cannot do impersonations.

What’s your favorite state you’ve been to?

Kentucky or Arkansas.  I think they’re tied.  I like both of them a lot!

Do you know a different language?

Etiam ego novi latan.  Uh, yes, I can speak latin and a bit of greek.  Sadly, I don’t have a greek keyboard on this computer.  If I did…I also know a tad bit of Spanish, and French.

Thanks, Amanda!  I enjoyed those!

Mandalynn asks…

What is your most memorable summer?

Wow.  I don’t know.  Either the summer of 2015 or the summer of 2016.  One was full of fun, the other was full of hardships and pain.

When you write a book do you sit down to write it with everything already thought out, or do you have to think about what you want your story to be?

Um, if I understand this question right, I think about what I want my story to be.  I come up with scenes before I plot it, and then write it!

What is your favorite book?

“The Hidden Hand” by E.D.E.N Southworth.  Boy, but that’s only by this much > .  See that period?  That’s how much it’s ahead of other books.

What is your favorite book series?

The Chronicles of Narnia, The Baker Family Adventures, or The Mysterious Benedict Society.  Do y’all like these books?

If you could spend a whole day with one blogger who would you chose?

Haha, I think I would chose Allison or Madi.  Okay, definitely Madi.  She’s awesome, guys!

And do you like to act in movies?

Me?  Like to act in movies? YES AND TOTALLY!  I love it.

Thank you so much, Mandalynn!

Olivia Bell asks…

What’s it like having sisters? (I only have brothers!)

It’s great!  I mean, it can be full of drama.  I care the least out of my family what I look like, (at least out of the oldest five) so there is a lot of my sister asking me if they look good, or do they look like slobs?

Besides the drama, sisters are rough.  At our church, there’s a family with five boys.  I think we’re about even with how many injuries we’ve sustained.  (I’ve been on the receiving end with those injuries!)

So, my thoughts about sisters: they’re fun.  I think it would be more fun to be in the middle of sisters then being the oldest, just because I happen to sooth a lot of hurt feelings. Regardless, drama and laughter are two things that stand out to me about living with sisters.

Do you get snow a lot where you live?

Compared to you, no.  We get a dusting every year, though this year we’ve had five inches so far!

Have you ever traveled out of the country?

Sadly no. I really want to, though!

Are you interested in Christian missions?

In the US, yes.  Out of the country?  I’m open to it, though God would have to show me in a major way that it’s what He wants for me.  I feel more called to the US.

Do you like Matthew West?

Um, yeah?  He’s not my favorite, but he’s okay.  If he did Bluegrass Gospel, he’d be amazing.

Do you like MercyMe?

I used to really love their song, “Imagine” when I was eight.  Now I do not like them.  They’re so-so.

How many blogs do you follow?

Let me go check.  I’m subscribed to 22, though I regularly check 26.  I can’t imagine following any more then that!

Do you have a favorite (besides your own, LOL!)?

Yes, I do!  And unlike some bloggers, I don’t mind sharing my favorites. Allison, Megan, Allison, and Madi all have amazing blogs.  Also I enjoy following family blogs, The Maxwells, the Bontragers, and the Bowers are just some.  Is that enough?

What did you think?

Did you enjoy this Q&A?  Should I do another in the far future?  What answer could you relate with the most?

I was right about the first question of you wanting to be a doctor!!

You are a good writer!! Better then me I’d have to say, because your stories always have so much action in them.
