Spring!!

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??? Oh, maybe that was a little over dramatic.  Ahem, let’s try this again.  Can you believe it?  I’m doing another photography post!  That’s right!  Winter (and all its wonderful coldness) has moved outta the South, and now a drizzly spring has taken its place.

*Does a face plant*

Yes, when I mean drizzly I’m serious.  MY PHOTOS TESTIFY!  Oh, right.  I wasn’t taking pictures in the rain.

Ahahaha–Let’s just move on.

IMG_1848.JPG

LOOK AT THIS!  What a work of art…except the red rose is kinda turning black.  Yes, I used Valentine roses for a photo shoot.  What else are they good for?

IMG_1823.JPG
See?  Good props!  Haha!  My expression!

So, I decided to take a photo shoot of myself.  I mean, you need good pictures of yourself, right?  But I only got about ten from a hundred.  Why?  Self timer.  *Glowers*. and little sisters. *scowl*. Okay, my sister wasn’t that bad, she just wanted a photo shoot too.

IMG_1862.JPG

Pretty flowers!  These are super cool, since the turn from white to brown through out the blooming process.  Man, the water tower photo bombed that one. 😦

IMG_1866.JPG

Yayayayayyayayyayayya!  The Bradford pears are blooming!  Am I the only one that likes their scent?  Yes?  Oh, bother.  *hides face in hands*

IMG_1873.JPG

Am I the only person who doesn’t like photographing bright colors?  They seem to be too bright…or something.  But these flowers are pretty!  Look how little and cute they are ❤

IMG_1876.JPG

The leaves are on their way!  *dances happily*. Because after the leaves means warm weather…and with the warm weather longer evenings…and with longer evenings equal wonderful strolls…and swimming!

IMG_1881

Yay!  The hyacinths are blooming.  Aren’t they pretty?  They’re my dad’s favorite flowers. We have purple and white, but only the purple have bloomed so far…

IMG_1888.JPG

More Bradford pears!  And the sky is actually remotely blue!  :0. It’s so shocking.  😉

IMG_1890.JPG

I had this very odd idea to use shells and flowers together.  I mean, it was supposed to work in theory.  What do you think?  Does it makes sense?

IMG_1901.JPG

While I was taking pictures, I came across this friendly pill bug.  Some how, he managed to get in at least six photos.  Maybe I was practicing my portrait skills????  Maybe???

IMG_1921.JPG

Here’s a Quince tree.  Don’t you just love the white and green?  It had SO many leaves!  Guys, it’s just March!  There’s craziness in the air!  (Or maybe that’s only me…)

IMG_1922.JPG

And what’s a photography post without pictures of my favorite creatures?  Hello, Mama cow!  You look so pretty with all the flowers behind you…(And your fellow kin folk)

IMG_1924.JPG

IMG_1926.JPG

So, I said it’s been raining?  It had just poured before I went out to take these pictures.  Look how bright green the leaves are!  And the water droplets!  And!!!! *dies*

IMG_1929.JPG

Peach blossom time!  Do y’all like peaches?  I know I do!  Nothing like a sun warmed peach on a hot day.  I am a peach fan, to be sure!  (Though I prefer berries…)

fullsizeoutput_14f.jpeg

So…I’m not sure if I like this.  Ya know, it would make an awesome screen thingy.  Ya know, lock screen thing?  I’m feeling un-intelligent right now because I can’t think of the word.

IMG_1932.JPG

SOOOOO PRETTY!!! *Eyes pop outta head*. I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS IS ACTUALLY A PHOTO I TOOK!!!!! *gasps*. I should enter this in a contest.  Ya know, I will hold on—-

Done!  It’s entered.  *dances*. But!  I probably won’t win.

This post was beautiful Amie! My favorite picture was your very last picture!!!! I’m very ready for spring. 🙂 It’s snowing at my house right now. Don’t get me wrong the snow is very pretty, but I’m ready for it to get warm again!

I love peaches! And I know you will laugh at me….. for as long as I can remember….. I have had this thing for “Rolly Pollys” AKA pill bugs…. so my favorite was…. yes Mr. Pill bug. I wish it would melt here instead we have about 5 feet of snow…. and we are supposed to get more. I love photography, I think I am going to start a blog soon. And I am new so I haven’t read a lot of posts yet but I definitely liked this one with all the photos.

Welcome to my blog, Miss Jac! I’ll tell you a story (I don’t know if Mandalynn has told you yet or not.). When I first saw your name, I thought you were Mandalynn’s older sister, since you have very similar opinions. Then I saw your sense of humor on C.R.Hedgecock’s blog and was like, “No, that’s not Jaclynn.” But I asked anyway, and Mandalynn was sure you were a guy. *Laughs crazily*. I knew no man on earth would spell his name J-a-c when he could make it more manly with an added k. Anyway, back to your comment.

I love pill bugs too! When we were little we called them Rolly Pollies, but as we got older, people corrected us.

I’d love to see your blog…if you make one!

LOL, that is funny! I actually have been mistaken for a boy before. I guess just because no one really knows that Jac is the girl version of Jack.

Jac is technically an abbreviation of Jacqueline but I only get called that if I’m in trouble😉 the world knows me as Jac it’s a nickname given to me at birth by my grandfather because his father’s nickname was Jack and he died a really horrible death when he was quite Young he was very close to my grandfather.

Like, what??? *so jealous* We’re still buried in snow, with no green, no flowers, no warm, and you’re showing all these flowers and I’m like, get me to the south!!! Hahaha! They were GORGEOUS photos though, and I agree, peaches are delish. 😛
