Edit: The next part of LLIL is out. Check it out here!
And welcome to another issue of Amie’s been tagged. Last time, I’ll remind you, that Amie was extremely energetic with AWS, and it was a Liebster Award. Today, it has something to do with eclipses, and yet it does not. Please help me welcome the tagged…
Amie!!!!
Howdy, y’all, and I hope you’re having a wonderful day today. Apparently I’m either not very fast, or I’m very easy to tag, since I have been tagged twice for the same tag. (Wow, this tag is really going around the blogging sphere.)
First, I was tagged by Liberty! (You’ve got to admit she has an amazing name.) Thanks so much, Liberty! I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to finally do it. 😂 #naturalprocrastinator
Second I was tagged by Rosie! Thanks so much, Rosie, for thinking of me. I am truly honored. 🙂
So, first I will state the rules, and then I will answer Liberty’s questions. Ready for the rules?
~~Rules~~
- Thank the person who nominated you for this tag and link to their blog. (Check!)
2. List the rules so the next nominees will know them. (This can be at the beginning or end of your post)
3. Include the ‘Eclipse’ image somewhere in your post (Mm hmm.)
4. Answer the 3 questions, and ask 3 questions for the people you tag to answer.
5. Nominate 3 people, and make sure they find out that they have been nominated.
~~Questions~~
- What do you think of coffee?
What do I think of coffee? Well, I call it my inspiration brew. I brew myself a cup, light a candle, and start typing on my laptop. (I work best in the dark too.) I really enjoy the taste of coffee. Folks tell me I make coffee strong enough to make the Army look weak. (And there are some other comments from the old guys that tease, but we’ll leave those out.)
2. Why did you start a blog?
Because one day a random thought came to me. “What if I started a blog?” And being the impetuous person I am, I started one two hours later without even asking my mom. I didn’t work on for a few days though because I thought it sounded safe to ask my parents if they were okay with me blogging.
3. What do you think of dark chocolate(dark guys. Dark)?
Blah. I really do not like chocolate, and I don’t understand chocolate cravings. I crave pickles. Sour pickles, and sour cream. And sometimes potatoes. But I never crave coffee or chocolate. What is so good about chocolate anyway?
Random Life Break
It’s been raining a lot here, so my mom came up with the best idea how to celebrate Memorial Day. I had already celebrated it Saturday by wandering around a graveyard, and reading all the veteran’s gravestones. (Wonderful recreation, by the way). My mom decided that we would have an uno tournament. I thought it was a great idea…Until I started Beta reading. If I like a book, I’m not about to put it down. First, I played my younger sister. Rose and I had it intense. I almost won two times, but she pulled out a draw two or a wild draw four.
Finally, I outsmarted her, and won. Smugly, I returned to my Beta reading. I read and read and read, and I wish I was reading now. Anyway, I played my older brother after dinner, and beat him pretty easily. Then, it was my dad. For some reason we’re both really competitive, so it was funny to see that we both got to the last round.
When I picked up my hand, I could have laughed. It was only me and my dad playing, so if you play a reverse, you get another turn. I had two reverses, two wilds, a draw two, and two plain cards. Let’s just say I won in three minutes. (My dad played a small trick that made the game longer than thirty seconds.)
Yay! I won the prize, which was an audio drama I’ve been wanting really bad. Escape From the Eagle’s Nest is so good! We listened to it last night. We have the book, but maybe the audio drama is a bit better. If you ever listen to it, you’ll understand when I start saying, “Dennis, adventurer, explorer, and Irishman!”
Anyway, back to playing tag…
~~Questions~~
- Boots or flip-flops? Why?
What do we say to this? Um??? Okay, considering I have five pairs of boots and no flip-flops, I think that gives the answer. Why? Have you ever walked into cow pies wearing flip-flops? No? Well, that’s good because it is not pleasant. Also I have cold feet, so I like socks. (Note: I’ve only ever walked in cow patties wearing flip-flops once.) (But maybe I’ve walked in cow patties more than once…)
2. What was the last board or card game you played? And with whom?
Uh. *cough* I really don’t know. Maybe it was Axes and Allies with my brother and our pastor. Or it was High Ho Cherry-o with my two little sisters.
It was Uno with my sister, brother, and dad. (I’M THE VICTOR!!!!)
3. What is your birthday Proverb? (To find your birthday Proverb, go to the book of Proverbs and for the month you were born in, go to that chapter, and for the day you were born go to that verse. )
“And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed.” Oh, I have a terrible birthday proverb. 😳 Should I be concerned? Or is it just a coincidence? I’m feeling rather concerned at the moment. (Will I always be mourning? And my flesh and body are going to be consumed?)
Just so you nominees know, I will not ask what your birthday Proverb is.
~~Nominees~~
And…
~~Questions for Nominees~~
- What is the saddest time in history?
- Water, milk, coffee, or tea?
- Life without music, or life without books? (Choose wisely.)
All right! Hope you enjoyed this rather insane post!
~~Amie~~
Great crazy post!

You don’t like chocolate? *cries for Amie*
I know! I couldn’t put it down either(if you are reading the same one I am, lol). Speaking of that…..I should go finish it…….. 😀

I enjoyed reading that! 🙃
I feel slightly guilty for asking you your birthday proverb and making you say it… Sort of… Sorry! (That was probably a half-hearted “sorry”. 😛) Seriously though, yours is HILARIOUS!!! And yes, it’s probably a coincidence. Hopefully. Lol, I thought my birthday proverb was bad!!! (To make you feel better about yours, heres mine. Even yours is worse…)
“As a ring of gold in a swine’s snout,
So is a lovely woman who lacks discretion”
Does that mean I’m a lovely woman who lacks discretion?!?!?😧 Well, maybe the lovely part part, but….. 😛
You don’t like chocolate? I feel so sorry for you!!! 😟
Great post, Amie!❤️

Oh, your’s isn’t that bad. It’s just a warning not to be that woman. Mine’s kinda just a foretelling, almost. 😂 I’m glad you enjoyed reading it!

Ooh, I loved reading this, Amie! Ooh, yes, coffee. Though I haven’t had it that strong. Funny, you haven’t any flip-flops? I do, though I’ve worn my boots to walk through cow pies. XD Normally I try to dodge them, however…Anyway, I loved this post, Amie!

I try to dodge them when I don’t have my head in the sky…And it’s funny, because I have my head in the sky about 95% of the time. Nope, I haven’t any. I usually go barefoot when I’m not wearing my boots. 🙂

Ha ha, really? I normally have my head on my feet. XD Wow, good for you! Unfortunately we have gravel driveway so yeah…it hurts.

Amy!! You don’t like chocolate?!? And you’ve never craved Coffee!?! Oh my goodness, girl!!! LOL! 😀
I usually go barefoot, but flip flops are then next best thing, as I HATE shoes, and they’re the closest you get to not having shoes! (but I seriously want a pair of cowgirl boots, cuz I’d wear those all the time in the fall and winter when you can’t wear flip-flops!)

Nope, I don’t like chocolate. No, oh, wait, maybe once when we were on vacation and it was freezing. I’m not sure if I craved it, or craved the warmth more.
