Snowball Rabbit Blog Tour~Day 5~

Image 12-6-18 at 1.30 PM

What?  Can you believe this is the last day?  Well, not exactly the last day, but the last day with reviews and stuff.  I’m flabbergasted.  HOW DID THE TIME FLY SO FAST?  But it flew, and now I’m here to tell you some of my favorite snippets from each post, and thank each person.

With an adorable aspect, and just the right spark of suspense, this book is perfect for a friend, family member or cousin between the ages of 2 and 5. Join sweet Snowball, an innocent, and peculiar…detective rabbit (with a detective hat of course) on the search for his beloved missing apple. –Annie @Annie Writes Site

Wow, I just love that.  It’s like, the model review.  Thanks so much, Annie!  (And I love your books so much. ❤ )

I read this to my four-year-old sister, and she was smiling and laughing throughout the book. She thought some parts were hilarious and said she liked it! She will definitely be wanting to read more adventures about Snowball. 🙂 She was excited to learn Snowball is actually a real rabbit! — Mya @ Life From Behind A Camera

I love your little sister already, Mya. 😂

I rarely review children’s books, but as a library worker (and as an aunt, and just as a former reader of children’s books) I have a vested interest in knowing what is out there in every type of literature possible. That said, I am thrilled to write this spotlight on Amie and her book, Snowball and the Missing Apple. — Jana @ Review From the Stacks

Jana, this spotlight just made me smile. 😀

Ok, can we first just mention two things: 1) This book is about an adorable bunny and 2) The illustrations are absolutely adorable. — Hannah @ The Striped Plaid

‘Cause that’s obviously all we need to mention, Hannah. 😉

The story was told well and I think children (the audience it was written for) could read and understand it pretty easily. The illustrations just added to this book’s awesomeness! They look like they took a lot of work, but they turned out fabulously! — Liz @ Home with the Hummingbirds

Guys, you have no idea how happy this makes me.  I was SO nervous about releasing the pictures with the book, because I’ve always though of myself as a terrible artist.  I’m so happy the reviewers like the illustrations. *cries tears of happiness*

The illustrations in the book are sure to keep a child’s attention with their colors, cuteness, and homelike feel. It’s also handwritten in neat script, and gives it such a unique read. — Parker @ Pencils and Pianos

Yay!  I’m glad my handwriting is neat. 😛

Snowball and the Missing Apple is a cute fun book for young kids! The book has fun drawings in it and the story is very sweet! The story is very short but still adorable and clean. I’d rate it 4 stars! — Abby @ Photos by Abby Rose

I’m so thankful for all of you reviewers!  Thank you so much for taking time to be a part of this!  Today we have lots of fun, and different people posting.

Then what would you say to anyone interested in reading this book?

I would say…

Dear potential reader, I am Snowball Rabbit, and I wish you a very good day.  I hope you find everything to your liking with the weather, your breakfast, and the time you woke up this morning.  The book you are looking at is about me, and it is a very wonderful book that will remedy waking up at the wrong time, terribly burned bagels, and rainy days.  Thank you for your interest.

Snowball Rabbit Blog Tour~Day 4~

Wow!  This week is flying by, guys!  But it’s been one of the best weeks of my life so far.  Just so amazing to have so many people helping me out with launching my book.  I feel so honored.

But, with that intro behind me, welcome to day number four!  Today we have…

Amie @https://crazya.blog — Amie talks about her future ideas with Snowball.

Starling @https://starling7.wordpress.com — Interview with Amie and Snowball

DSC_0001.JPG

Yep, not a very heavy day on the blog tour, but it’s always the calm before the storm, right?  Today I’m going to talk about my plans for the future…And since I’m terrible at just telling people things, I looked up questions to ask about future plans. 😉

1. What are the things are you most passionate about?

Hehe, this is a weird feeling to be interviewing myself, but I’ll explain why I’m doing this after I finish the interview.  I’m passionate about my beliefs, about writing, about music, and about books I read.

Mostly about music and acting, though.  And writing, if you dig deep enough, LOL.

2. What are the greatest accomplishments in your life so far?
Well, publishing my book, being in a small audio clip, arranging my own music…

3. If  life had absolutely no limits, what would you choose to have and what would you choose to do?

I would have a farm, and I would travel and perform, and write.  That about sums up what I dream for my life.  On the farm I would have dairy cows and a horse or two.

4. What are your goals in life?

My goals are to publish more books, prayerfully full length novels (for middle school and Y/A) and to perform someway somewhere.  At the moment I’m mostly focusing on music and writing. 😉

5. Who do you admire most in the world?

My mom.  She’s the most amazing person on earth. ❤

6. What do you not like to do?

I do NOT like cooking, or teaching.  I’m not a mathematician, and I’m terrible at consoling.  Oh, and office type work.  Other than that, I like pretty much everything else. 😂  I’m pretty easy-going.

DSC_0262.JPG

I had to have questions, because unless someone asks me something, or I ask myself something, I’m pretty bad at giving out serious information.  I have been asked if there will be another Snowball book…The answer?  I have no clue.  Snowball’s been giving me a few ideas for a sequel, but I don’t know if I’ll pursue it.

What are you doing at the moment then?  Is that what you’re asking?  Well, I have four novels that I’m writing/editing/or looking into publication with.  So yeah, I’m busy. 😂  Will there be more books by Amie?  Lord willing, the answer is yes.  I love writing, and I would like to share my writing with the world.

What else am I up to?  Will writing be my only career?  I have no idea.  Only God knows, and we’ll see where He leads.

And with those thoughts, I’m going to remind you about the LIVE YouTube video on Saturday at 2:15 EST.  I’m so excited to answer all of your questions!  It’s going to be amazing. 😉

And, of course, we have the giveaway. 😀

Snowball Rabbit Blog Tour~Day 3~

DSC_0020.JPG

Meow how how.  It is I.  The cat named Angel, and today I have come to ruin the blog.  Well, not ruin it, but to make this blog tour a total disaster.  I still cannot understand why Amie decided to use a rabbit as a main character in her book.  Everyone knows that cats are superior creatures, do they not?

As a cat, I must say that Amie’s blog is absolutely cat-less, and needs some cat sprucing up.  She doesn’t even have any chips on the blog!  Can you believe, when I jumped up on her bed the other night to be friendly, and remind her she shouldn’t have chips on her bed, and offer to take them away, she pretended I was a dog and threw a chip at me saying fetch!?  Thankfully, it missed and landed on the ground.  (And since I’m such a helpful cat, I went to clean up the mess she made.)

Well, Amie said that as the person in charge of the tour today, I had to promote the book, introduce the people helping out today, and then talk about some giveaway.  Well, we shall proceed.

fullsizeoutput_1fa.jpeg

Posting today, we have…

Amie @https://crazya.blog — The enemy I, Angel the cat steals posts on the blog

Merie Shen @https://imperialscribis.wordpress.com/ — Interview with Snowball

Hannah @https://thestripedplaid.wordpress.com — Book review

Now, as you know, you can buy the book here.  Some people seem to think the cover is very cute, but it is a rabbit on the cover.  Rabbits are very stuck up animals.  In fact, Snowball often cases me away in the morning when I come down to the living room to be pet.  He is a very persistent animal, and he just follows me, zipping and zagging whenever I try to give him what he deserves.  (A paw to the face, in other words.)

Amie also thought she would get more attention if she had a giveaway.  I mean, I suppose free stuff is a very good idea, but she should have added chips to the mix.  Especially Doritos.  YUM.

DSC_0003

 a Rafflecopter giveaway

Amie is also having a LIVE YouTube Q&A on Saturday, which will be at…(She said to draw out the suspense. Meow how how. >:)

2:15 EST

Which means 1:15 CST, 12:15 MST, and 11:15 PST.  She’ll be answering the questions you have and will be commenting below, as well as any that you feel like asking in the live chat that’ll be going on.  You don’t want to miss it, because I might appear. (I also might not.)

While she’s videoing, she’ll also be announcing the winner of the giveaway, so you have until Friday to enter.  (Don’t know if she’s told you that already.  Knowing Amie, she probably hasn’t.)

So, more about myself.  I am a white cat, and I have one human pet.  Her name is Rose, and she shares a cage (or known as room by humans) with Amie.  Amie hardly ever stays in her cage, but Rose likes her cage, and will spend almost all day with me.  I like my pet staying close by, but it is nice when she disappears.  Responsibility can get tiring at times.

My human is the best looking human ever.  There’s no disputing that.  Just look at her adorable face!

DSC_0088.JPG

Of course, Amie did take that picture, but it doesn’t even do Rose justice.  Anyway…

I’m the alpha cat.  I have a servant named Snowflake, but she often doesn’t do what I tell her.  She’s not worth the food I kindly allow her to eat.  She likes to gorge her fat little face, but I’ve put her on a diet.  Of course, the diet isn’t working because she just lays under the bed, but you get the idea.  I’m a very important cat.

I suppose that sums me up.  I’m a very important cat that likes shrimp (My people don’t eat it any more! *offended sigh*) and chips.  Any kind of chips, though I do prefer orange Doritos.

DSC_0027.JPG

Here’s the schedule for the rest of the week, in case you haven’t seen it anywhere else.  (Which isn’t likely, but better be safe than sorry.)

Snowball Rabbit Blog Tour~Day 1~

Image 12-6-18 at 1.30 PM

It ’tis Snowball Rabbit, and today it is the beginning of my very own blog tour.  It is also the day that Amie’s mother becomes a year older, and so she will be joining me below, and answering questions about Amie.  (Mwahahaha!  The whole interview is to embarrass Amie. >:)

But first off, we have the posts for today!

Anna @anniewritessite.wordpress.com— Book review

Mya @https://lifefrombehindacamera.com — Book review

Sam @https://thehappilyeverafterdolls.wordpress.com — Interview with Amie and Snowball
Well, only one interview with me, today.  I do believe that the book reviews will be about me, though.  Since the book is about me.

DSC_0225.JPG

We I also have a giveaway going on, and Amie wanted me to announce something for her before I went into the interview.  Amie will be having a LIVE YouTube video answering all the questions you ask over the week on the 23 of February.  She’ll announce the time on Wednesday.

Here’s the giveaway prizes…

DSC_0003.JPG

Amie is giving away a copy of my book, along with two sheets of stickers.  (She said to gush on the puffy stickers and the suck-u-lant stickers. (I’ve never had that word in my spelling books.) but I don’t feel like gushing about them.)  And a stuffed, little white rabbit to remind you of the perfect white rabbit named Snowball.

(It’s a very soft little white rabbit, with the cutest little face.)

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Now, my dear friends, welcome Amie’s mom to our adventure, and enjoy learning about Amie from her mother. >:)

fullsizeoutput_19d

When did you realize Amie was different?

Different from a rabbit? Or different from other little girls.  Of course, the moment she was born.  I also knew she wasn’t a rabbit.

How did you know she was different?  Was she polydactyl?

No, she was lip tied.  And she was my first full term baby.

What is your most prominent memory of Amie?

*thinks very hard, because she can’t remember* Probably when she would tell me what she would not do, and she would put her little nose in the air.  I told her she had better be careful, or flies would go up her nose.

Thankfully, she grew out of that.

What did you think when Amie asked to get me?

NO.  *laughs* In fact, I said no many times.

Obviously, Amie is smarter when it comes to rabbits.

What is one major thing that defines Amie’s personality?

Her out-goingness.  She also has an uncanny ability to make other people comfortable.  When she was younger, I told her she was a human magnet.

What did you think when Amie said she was publishing a book?

YAY.  Good for you.

Is Amie a diligent person?

Yes.  She has trained herself to be, at least.

What is Amie’s most annoying fault?

Provoking people!  *Looks in Amie’s direction*

I agree.

Do you think Amie should eat more kale, or more collards?

Collards.  I like collards better.

Do you think Amie looks like you?

Some, yes.  But not totally.  I have beautiful black hair.

Is Amie more like you, or more like her dad?

She’s a good mix.  (Amie interjection: I got all the good qualities from both, and the bad qualities skipped over me.) Hah hah.

Does Amie remember your birthday? (Obviously only me, the rabbit remembers.)

How is that a question?

What did you think when I told you I was interviewing you for the blog tour?

I felt honored.

Are you truly proud to be the mother of the modern rabbit advocate, and to let the famous rabbit in your house?

Yes.  I have come to love you, Snowball, since you love my bunny rubs.  You’re also the first creature to great me in the morning.

Blah blah blah, I thought you supposed to be embarrassing Amie, not me.

That’s mommy’s job for all younger animals and humans in the house.

*Snowball lets the crickets in* Chirp chirp chirp.
