The Judge… (And random stuff)

Hello!  Today I’m typing from my overly crowded desk.  Yikes, I really need to clean it up…But I do have an excuse!  Thank you all who entered my writing contest.  I’m really enjoying your stories, even though I haven’t read them all.  I’m announcing one of the judges besides myself.  (Okay, the only judge besides myself.)

My brother Phil!  To be honest, I’ll be super surprised if we even agree on the winner.  I have a feeling we might compromise on the winner.  I’m the writer, he’s the reader.  I’ll judge the grammar, the plot, and how the story flows.  He’ll judge…What he likes.  😂

So, y’all should be happy that you don’t have just me.  I’ll just pick your stories to death.  He’ll probably fly through them and place his favorite in my hand.  We’ll see.

Next random thing!  Today, we went shopping, and I finally convinced my younger sister, Rose, to play this game with me.  Honestly, I hate shopping, but when you do it this way, it’s fun.  The rules are simple.  Find a modest, crazy outfit and make your sibling try it on.  I think I won (I picked for Rose), and I’ll tell you the reason in a bit.

Outfit #1

For Rose’s outfit, I chose an adorable peachy-lacy dress, and paired it with a cream scarf. To finish it off, I picked out the highest cream high-heels I could find.  Isn’t she rocking it?

Sadly, my outfit that Rose picked out for me kinda…Went flat and we didn’t take a picture of it.  Trust me, it didn’t fit.

Outfit #2

Let me explain this outfit.  My younger sister loves yellow…and anything bright.  I’m more for grey and dark colors, but she wants to make you squint.  I chose a yellow dress with a white lace overlay.  Since it was a sundress, it need something to make it modest.  I chose this lovely button up.  To finish the stunning look, I chose some ADORABLE! booties.  Seriously, they were cute. (Isn’t Rose the cutest model?)

*Coughs*  Okay, so this dress was interesting.  I was trying to balance on these 3 inch heels my sister made me where.  Okay, so I find being 6′ 3″ is NOT fun. You should have seen me next to my dad.  🤣  Anyway, now to tell you about the outfit.

The dress is a lovely velvet with a see-through top.  I paired it with a turtle neck tee-shirt, and to finish the very different look, I had on a pair of beige (killer) heels.

A fun fact about me is that I can’t walk in heels, and don’t see the point.  My sister couldn’t stop laughing at how I stumbled out of the dressing room.  I’m tall enough without heels, okay?

Now for some photography!  I’ve been taking pictures of my rabbit, and of some flowers.

Look at little Peter rabbit!  I found a doll vest that fit Snowball perfectly.  He isn’t a fan of it, but he puts up with it for my sake.  Isn’t he the cutest?

“Save me from this awful vest!  Please!  Have mercy on me!”–Snowball

Isn’t it a beautiful flower?  It’s in our backyard, and I’m kinda sad more people can’t see it.  It’s on a rather small bush instead of a vine.  Somehow the vine became a bush?  I’m not exactly sure, but it’s still pretty.

To be truthful, I’m obsessed with water droplets.  They’re just so pretty and delicate, and they reflect the prettiest things.  😍  Truly, I’d only take pictures of water droplets if I could.

The roses are blooming!  I actually don’t like roses, unless they’re these vibrant ones.  I’m proud of this picture.  😉

All right!  That seems to be it for today.  Sorry for the rather random post, but that’s how we roll here at Crazy A.  Stay tuned for Saturday when we announce the winner!

Do you ever dress up at stores?  What is your opinion on my brother being the judge?  What do you think about Snowball?

You both look so pretty! 😊💜💜 I would love to do that at a thrift store, but I’m a scaredy-cat and I think I would be too embarrassed. XD
I love that picture of the rose; it looks so professional! You’re a wonderful photographer. 💜

That sounds like a super fun game! I love shopping, fashion, and putting outfits together so I need to try that with my two sisters and my mom. 😉
Haha, I can’t walk in heels either! I’m too clumsy. But I’m 5’5 1/2″, and my mom and sister who is done growing are both far shorter than me so I don’t need them anyways… I’m still taller than them when they wear heels. Don’t know how they do it. Maybe shorter people have better balance???
